What if the only pictures you were able to take, print, or share were ones from the low, ugly, or gloomy points from your life?
With all the millions of articles and news stories flying around Facebook, TV, and through word of mouth, I find it incredibly hard to keep critical thinking intact. Have you stopped to ask yourself RECENTLY if you are fickle and compliant? Filled with protest but no action?
Stop to consider for a moment: Do any (or all) of the following things succeed in directing your thoughts and actions?
I have been challenged a lot this year about this concept of "leaning in". My tendency is to lean back until I can be sure of what is in front of me, what I can do to keep control, and/or what the circumstance might present and if I can succeed in it. But when being faced with this opportunity to publish my first novel (VEILED), I had a choice to make. Do I lean in or lean back into familiar territory?
